Kandace A. Washington, MBA

 Chief Executive Officer
 

Kandace Washington is a native of Florence, SC. She is an alumnus of Wilson High. She obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration from Limestone University. She furthered her studies and received her Master's of Business Administration from Webster University.

​

Kandace operates 3 businesses in the tax industry. She is the owner and tax professional of New Wave Tax Solutions. For the past 9 years, she has serviced individuals and small businesses throughout the U.S. with tax preparation and other services. Kandace is the instructor of New Wave Tax Academy, where she teaches others how to become tax professionals. Lastly, she owns tax software and is a software provider. She birthed New Wave Tax Pro Software, where she offers software to stand alone tax preparers, as well as tax companies. Kandace recently launched and is now offering bookkeeping and payroll services at her firm to small businesses. Her plans are to add notary services and business credit/funding in the summer of 2025. Her tax firm wants to help more small businesses elevate.

 

Kandace loves being involved in her community. Whether it's giving donations or her time. This year, she held her first women's empowerment event, which is something she is very passionate about. She recently joined the American Business Women Association, Women on the RISE Chapter, and is also a member of the Florence Chambers of Commerce. She has been recognized in her community for her service by the Isaac Wilson Project and was named the Young Professional of 2023. Also, for 2 years, she has volunteered as a city league cheer coach. She has attended several events educating adults and children about taxes and entrepreneurship.

 

During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and making lasting memories with her family. She loves traveling, shopping, watching movies, and listening to music that soothes her soul.
